Exchange Dominance — selected venues
A volume-share view: controls refine the timeframe, smoothing and included venues.
Nimiq exchange volume dominance
This is a volume-based metric: it tracks each venue's share of observed, USD-normalized NIM trading volume. It helps identify where liquidity is concentrated and when market structure changes; it is not a measure of exchange balances, reserves or market share outside the tracked venues.
- Coverage
- Historical rows can include imported market data. Forward refreshes use direct exchange APIs where available; CoinEx is kept as an optional historical comparison and is excluded from the opening selection.
- What it tells you
- Whether the tracked NIM trading volume is concentrated on one venue or distributed across the selected market.
- Why it matters
- Volume concentration can affect liquidity, slippage and the interpretation of large exchange-flow alerts.
